The Remodelors Council, chartered in 1988, is comprised of contractors
and associated members dedicated to the promotion and betterment
of the remodeling industry in Mecklenburg County.
The council is committed to providing citizens of the Charlotte
area with a list of reliable and responsible professionals specializing
in remodeling, and strives to provide its members with varied
opportunities for education, and the exchange of ideas, information
and resources. Additionally, it is a goal of the council to keep
its members abreast of legislation and regulatory measures affecting
the remodeling industry, and to advocate the trade’s concerns
to policymakers and the media.
Each March, the Remodelors Council is featured at the HBAC General
Meeting, as the annual Excellence in Remodeling Awards are presented.
Membership applications are available online or from the HBAC
office. Memberships are administered on a company basis, at a
rate of $80 per year. A portion of the dues is applied to your
membership in the National Remodelors Council of the National
Association of Home Builders (NAHB).
The Remodelors Council meets the third Wednesday of each month
at 12:00pm in the HBAC Meeting Room. Lunch is provided, and an
RSVP is required by 5pm on the preceding Tuesday in order to be
included in the lunch count.
